Maitri Overseas is the mother company. The work is divided deliberately, so each side of the business stays focused on a different kind of customer.

Handles importing, exporting and stockholding. Fifteen years of stainless steel trading and international movement, keeping the material available for the processing lines and for trade customers.
Just-in-time delivery to the customer's doorstep — bigger input units broken into small lots, so you buy what your run actually needs.
What we supply
Stainless steel, in the form your line needs
Slit, cut-to-size, polished and blanked to your drawing, in 200, 300 and 400 series — in 2B, 2D, No. 4, No. 8 or BA finish, held to tight processing tolerances.
S.S. welded pipes
Made on our own ERW tube mill, 1″ to 4″ in 0.6 – 2.0 mm wall. Welded and scarfed in-house.
Sheets & plates
Cut to length from 400 mm up to 13,000 mm long, to 1550 mm wide.
Coils & slit coils
Full and slit coils, 400 – 1350 mm wide, re-coiled to the weight you run. Shot on our own slitting line.
Round bars
Bright and black bar for machining, fasteners and shafting.
Circles & blanks
Zig-zag stamped, 50 – 250 mm diameter — minimum scrap, straight into your draw.
Polished & customised
Patta, patti and polished stainless in the finish you specify. Inventory management and warehousing available, so stock sits with us instead of on your floor.

Finish & source
The face of the steel, and the mill behind it
Two things buyers ask about after the grade: what the surface looks like, and whose steel it is. Both are your choice.
2B
Smooth mill finish
Cold rolled, annealed, pickled and skin-passed. Lightly reflective and even — the default for general fabrication and the most widely stocked finish we carry.
2D
Dull matte
Cold rolled, annealed and pickled without the final pass. Uniform and non-reflective, and it holds lubricant well — the one to pick for deep drawing.
No. 4
Brushed satin
A unidirectional brushed grain. The standard face for kitchen equipment, white goods and architectural panels where fingerprints have to disappear.
No. 8
Mirror
Progressively polished to a near-reflective surface. Decorative panels, trim, elevator interiors — anywhere the steel is meant to be looked at.
BA
Bright annealed
Annealed in a controlled atmosphere so it comes out bright without polishing. Clean, highly reflective, and free of the directional marks polishing leaves.

Five minutes inside the works
Not stock footage — this is our own plant, filmed on the line. Every clip is silent, so play them wherever you are.
Coil loading & slitting
A full-width master coil mounted on the uncoiler and fed through the slitter head. Everything downstream — sheet, pipe, circle — starts here.
Slit mults on the recoiler
Separated strips rewinding onto the arbor between separator discs, each one held to the width you ordered. This is the slit coil that leaves our gate.
Zig-zag circle stamping
The press blanking circles straight from strip, nested zig-zag to keep scrap down — 50 to 250 mm diameter, stacking up beside the machine.
Shearing & stacking
Sheet coming off the shear and going straight onto dunnage — interleaved and covered so the surface reaches you the way it left the line.
Surface check before packing
A finished sheet drawn out flat and looked over end to end. Nothing gets wrapped until the face has been seen.
